Item Amount Measure Note
butter 1/4 cup
powdered sugar
semisweet chocolate 8 ounces
nut fines
whipping cream 1/2 cup
cocoa powder
sugar 3 tablespoons
Bailey's Irish Cream 1/4 cup

Combine cream, butter, and sugar in a medium saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat. Add chocolate, stirring until completely melted. Stir in the Bailey's.

Chill mixture until firm, about 4 hours or overnight. Shape into balls. (A melon baller works well, but so does a teasopoon and your fingers. Dust with cocoa if things get too sticky.) Roll in desired coatings to cover thoroughly. Chill. Store in airtight container in the refrigerator.

Source's note: "I use Bailey's in this truffle recipe, however you can substitute any liquor that you'd like. I've used cinnamon flavoured Goldschlager and it was sublime!"
