horseradish root 1 medium
sugar 2 tablespoons
cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon
cider vinegar 1/4 cup

Grate the horseradish root. Stir in the vinegar until you have the consistency you want--more or less vinegar than what's called for may be required. Add the sugar and the cayenne pepper.

Refrigerate in a tightly sealed jar for up to two months.

Wear a gas mask or buy a food processor. Grating the horseradish root stings the nose a little bit, but when it gets into your lungs it HURTS!
