Hi, Mom
I’m done with this ‘blog for a while, and I have no clear intention of returning to it. Marc and I are pretty busy at Analytical Life, though. Come on by.
Miscellany
Marc and I have some projects underway, and I’m likely to be using this space–or at least the site in general–as a sandbox. Email shouldn’t be affected, but don’t panic if this particular blog disappears for a while.
Playground
I’m working on putting together a theme for the Vance Band site. If things look weird this evening, I’m aware and will put ‘em back before I’m done.
Bear With Me
Okay, I have the new software loaded and everything ported over as best I could do. I’ve lost comments—but maybe not permanently—so if there’s anything in particular you wanted retained there, let me know and I’ll add it manually.
The scheme for this thing will be changing. Probably several times. Still trying to find one I [...]
Good Morning Silicon Valley?
Just to answer the questions before they get asked, the GMSV stuff off to the side is just a feed I'm working with because I had it to use. I'll eventually get an RSS feed or three running down the side of the page, but I really haven't decided which one(s) yet.

Update: Er, comments are back on but I haven't found where to allow registration. Sorry for the confusion.
Update: All right. Comments disabled until I [...]
Is this thing on?
Just a public acknowledgement that I’ve been exceptionally slack for the past several months, but I should be getting back on board soon. I’m planning on redesigning the layout and color scheme, updating links and "who we are" stuff, adding some zing, and upgrading the blog software.
If anyone reading has suggestions or requests for content, [...]
Old Testament Questions
Well, I said it wasn't original. I heard many of the questions I posted a couple of weeks ago were on a rerun of The West Wing last night. Asked by "the president"—in a righteous, indignant fury—of a Dr. Laura-inspired radio talk-show host or columnist or something. Rah, rah, and all that.
No More Comments
Okay, I'm turning off comments by default. I'm tired of deleting the spammish crap that comes in and no one seems to be commenting anyway. If you have something to say, let me know and I'll either open up the specific entry (until it gets discovered by the crapbots) or post verbatim whatever you [...]
